Safety at NEXT MX
Ride Smart. Watch Smart. Stay Safe.
At NEXT MX, safety is our top priority. While motocross is inherently dangerous, our facility is built to support skill progression in a controlled and structured environment.
That said, all riders and spectators must understand and accept that serious injury is possible. Safety depends on shared responsibility, common sense, and respect for the track.
General Safety Rules
1. All riders must wear full protective gear
This includes a DOT-approved helmet, goggles, gloves, motocross boots, and chest or body protection.
2. Waivers are mandatory for all visitors
Before entering any riding or spectator area, you must complete one of the following:
3. Mini bikes and big bikes run separately
Riders are grouped by age and experience to reduce the risk of collisions and mismatched speeds.
4. Stay in designated areas
There is no free riding or off-track use. Only ride where directed, and respect all signage and track markers.
Parents, Spectators, and Track Access
We understand that in a smaller facility like ours, parents sometimes need to assist young riders, and spectators may need to cross the track. These actions are not banned — but they must be done carefully and only when necessary.
If you must cross or enter the track:
Do so only when absolutely necessary
Look both ways and listen for approaching riders
Cross quickly and directly — never stop or linger on the track
Avoid standing in blind spots, jump landings, or tight corners
If helping a downed rider, stay alert to others still riding
Photography and Video Rules
Stay off the riding surface at all times
Do not cross jump faces or landing areas
Never assume the track is clear — bikes can appear without warning
For Parents of Young Riders
We welcome parents helping younger riders, but please prioritize safety at all times. The Woods MX track and corner-focused training areas are ideal for walking alongside or observing from close range.
Avoid crowding the track or interfering with other riders. If you’re unsure, ask staff where to stand or assist safely.
Final Reminder
Motocross carries real risk — no matter the facility size or the number of riders on track. The goal at NEXT MX is to make riding as safe, structured, and rewarding as possible. That only works when everyone respects the environment and takes safety seriously.
Thank you for riding with us, and for doing your part.
